Born in Slovakia, Barbora Namerova is a screenwriter and dramaturgist based in Berlin. A graduate of FAMU in Prague, she is the screenwriter behind acclaimed films "Filthy" and "Nightsiren", the latter winning the Golden Leopard award at the Locarno International Film Festival. Her work on "Filthy" was nominated for the Czech Film Critics Awards and Czech Lion Awards. She also collaborated on "Sensitive Man“, featured at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival. Currently, Barbora is working on new projects with Warner Bros. in Germany and developing historical TV series like "Convictions" and "The Red Princess”. She likes to highlight the complexity of social issues and challenge taboos.
